Betsy Allen-McPhedran enjoys the variety of birds and wildlife around her home in rural Mount Vernon.  She retired from teaching gifted and talented, foreign Language and art for thirty years in the Maranacook Community School system. Betsy's work is often exhibited at Hallowell's long-acclaimed Slates Restaurant.
