Forces of Nature
Elizabeth Starr's art is deeply connected to the wild wilds of Maine. She paints in acrylic, oil, and watercolor and enjoys drawing in black and white, and with colored pencils. Drawing is the discipline where her creativity can be reignited. The forces of nature invade her work showing up both as form and content, the powerful manifestations of storms and tides, light and shadow embody much of my imagination in the painting process.
