Comfort for Heart & Soul

Jeanne Marie Coleman was trained in film photography but has developed a profound appreciation for the extraordinary capabilities of digital cameras. Jeanne embraces all genres of photography but her true passion lies in photographing nature. Jeanne considers herself very fortunate to live and work in Maine with its diverse landscapes and wildlife - all of which are unique and intrinsically beautiful. Jeanne is frequently out in rain, snow, frigid temperatures, broiling sun and a plethora of bugs, but to her it is absolutely worth the effort. She especially enjoys the challenge of being in the right place at the right time to capture something that is fleeting. It is Jeanne’s belief that quality Nature photographs provide comfort food for the heart and soul. Her work can be viewed in the permanent art collections of many of the healthcare facilities in Central Maine.
